Hi guys,i'm planning to build a new gaming rig and for starter i'm gonna go with intel i7 6700K + MSI Z170A Gaming Pro...is it a good combination?

You don't need an i7 for gaming. You should be focusing your funds on the graphics card, as this is what will ultimately hold you back from achieving higher settings and framerates in-game. The unlocked i5 is going to perform just fine for gaming, the only difference to the i7 is that they i7 has hyper-threading and thus four "virtual cores" as well as the four psychical cores. That being said, if your budget is high enough for a top graphics card as well as the i7, knock yourself out ;-)

An i7 6700k is a great deal atm, i'd consider getting one if a 1080 is available to include in the budget.

well,actually i haven't planned a budget yet...but would gtx 1060 6gb be okay?

Yes and no, there's a fantastic deal on an RX 480 4GB which will perform 5-10% slower, not much, but is 30% cheaper.
