My Gaming PC is Running EXTREMELY Slowly

It's literally unusable. It runs SO slow! Around January it was running fast and fine. Now, it goes extremely slow. I am unable to do anything as everything just takes so long. My PC is only about two years old. What's wrong with it? Please help!

That’s not a spec, you should list make and model of each part.

There are lots of possible causes. Here are some to try look for;

What are the cpu & gpu temperatures when at Windows desktop?

What is the cpu and HDD usage at Windows desktop 5-10 mins after booting?

Have you tried a clean install of Windows?

Xeon E3-1231 is the only thing I can get for specs, can you find out what the gpu is, if you do have a dedicated GPU, if not thats fine.

I updated the specs in my post. I don't know if I'm missing anything else. I don't know how to check if it's overheating and I don't have any unwanted programs installed.

Hi, I added more information in my post. But CPU 5% Utilization. Speed 0.33GHz. Processes 171. I had it on for two days. I forget to turn my computer off. It's slow even on start up, though.

Memory 5.3GB in use. 10.6 Available. Speed 1333MHz. 2.4 slots used. 5.8/22.5 GB commited. 10.7GB cached. And what's a clean install?

Looks like your CPU is overheating 97c and thermal throttling. Clean out the CPU fan and heatsink and reseat the cooler with some new thermal paste,

Clean dust , replace intel stock cooler
