I am a first time builder and would like to know if this is a good gaming, editing, entertaining, music rig if there are any ideas/adjustments please post bellow. Thinking of over clocking down the trackAnyway this is my rig http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2nDgE PSU is not an option of change I will be running a fair few components from it.

Changes

CPU 4770k
Sound card gone

Solution
an i7 is pointless and performs the same as an i5. Get an i5.
Same for the 16gb RAM. Get 8gb RAM. it will be years before games an even fully utilize 8gb let alone more.
You NEED a K series CPU to overclock, otherwise that cooler and motherboard are 100% waste.
That sound card is worse than the motherboard audio. You DO NOT need a sound card at all for a gaming build.
PSu is WAY too much. Get a 650w unit for a single gtx770 build.

I will also be editing and rendering among other stressful things for a system

If you are going to actually render and encode get the i7. You need the 4770k if you want to overclock. If you do not want to overclock drop the CPU cooler and get a WAY cheaper board. The 16gb RAM can stay for encoding purposes.

BUT still change everything else I listed.

I'm thinking of over clocking later so i will change to 4770k
