My GPU does not show anything up

Hello I changed my thermal paste on my gpu and put everything back together and nothing comes up on the monitor my graphics card led and fans spin and stop as it supposed to if it's not being used intensively. I've done much things as I could find but still does not work my specs are

GTX 970
Ryzen 5 1600
Msi b350 pc mate
Corsair 8gb 3000mhz ram

I forgot to mention on my motherboard red light comes up on GPU and VGA

Try another video card, you could have damaged something on yours.

Funny I unpluged my system fans i this seemed to fix it ...
