As long as the fan noise doesn't bother you, then cool!I changed my fan curve and the temp is now mostly 75-79c
1)You'll have to soon or later - for more thorough cleaning, at least.I just don’t really want to take my pc apart, should I just clean my graphics card since I haven’t cleaned it in 6 months
Set your own curves; auto sucks. Also I have fan speed on auto
As high as you're comfortable with(your ears). How aggressive the curve should be
It’s a Corsair spec 05Set your own curves; auto sucks.
Use Msi Afterburner or EVGA Precision X to set the gpu curve, and set your chassis fan curves from bios.
What's the chassis model?
Ok...It’s a Corsair spec 05
Why do I have to do all this??Ok...
Remove the 2 front fans.
Remove the 1st top fan, and seal that spot - tape some cardboard, or sit a book over it temporarily.
Leave the rear exhaust and the other top exhaust where they are.
Check gpu thermals alongside the new gpu fan curve.
I changed my fan curve and the temp is now mostly 75-79c I just don’t really want to take my pc apart, should I just clean my graphics card since I haven’t cleaned it in 6 monthsIf the higher fan curve doesn't help you, the next step is to look into changing your airflow situation... and if that doesn't work, then the thermal paste likely needs to be replaced.
Corsair's Carbide Spec 05 has a choke point with its front panel design.
If that's too much work for some reason, can you at least remove the front, top, and side panels and check your gpu's thermals under load?
This will show how much the chassis restricts air entering and escaping it. If flow is good, you shouldn't see more than a few degrees(C) difference in gpu temps from before(80C).

I’m just worried because I didn’t put the fans in my friend didAs long as the fan noise doesn't bother you, then cool!

2)It wouldn't hurt to clean the gpu.
?I’m just worried because I didn’t put the fans in my friend did
It means I didn’t install my fans, someone else did it for me?
What does this mean?
