[SOLVED] My gpu fan stops working for no reason

Recently i have bought a new cpu cooler and a few fans, i dont know if have anything to do with this, but the problem started when i installed them. For no reason my gpu fan stops working properly , and the cooler slows down to 300rpm (even if it is hot, when it should be around 1800, 2000). Even if i try to set the speed up with msi afterburner, the fan speed show 100%, but the rpm still around 300, and for any aparent reason, it turns back up to what suposed to be. But when it doesn't in time, my gpu start throttling and i loose performance!
Can someone please help me? is my gpu dead? is my mobo messing with his fan?

Have you tried to take the card out and put it back in? Maybe there's a loose connection or some dust in somewhere.

Update: i took it out and found a tiny black spec of dust. After i cleaned it, the problem was solved! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! <3
