My gpu fan suddenly loud?

I was adjusting a few thins in my pc then suddenly my gou went full on loud then i accidently touched the gpu fan and now my finger is bleeding.i'm having a feeling that it is my 24 pin power connector is this right?

Does your GPU have dual fans? I know that the dual fan setups for EVGA and Asus GPUs will spin one fan at 100% if the 2nd fan is blocked. I've actually done this while messing around with my PC. I knocked a wire into one of the fans and that caused the 2nd fan to spool up to 100% because the first fan couldn't spin.

my gpu has 3 fans and i checkde nothing is blocking the gpu fans

i found the proplem, it was the 24 pin that i knocked out

would anything be damaged if the 24 pin connector was knocked out?

Can't think of any issues. I'm going to assume your GPU fans were at 100% because you didn't have a MB to tell them what RPMs to be at. You should be fine.
