Question my gpu fans dont spin

when i first made my pc and it started the graphics card fans didnt turn on but the gpu still worked. my screen just turned off while i was watching a video. is there a way to turn them on or do they spin when the gpu is under pressure or something?

What gpu? A lot of newer models have a zero db fan mode that won't turn on the fans until 55-60*c.

Fans will only turn if the card starts to get hot. I cant manually set the fans to 0 but just sitting on the desktop they will turn off.

Drivers up to date?

Which exact GPU MODEL is it, first of all ?

all drivers are up to date and it is an asus 1060 6g dual. it works perfectly but i think my screen turned off because it wasnt plugged in fully.

try stressing it in a game. If fans turn on, all is well.
