I have a Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1050 OC 4GB GDDR5 PCI-E
And I've never head or seen my fans spin I'm getting a bit concerned can someone tell me if they only spin after a certain temp or if I haven't hooked it up correct

Solution
Go to the website for Nvidia and find your card. You'll probably end up with the Nvidia experience software which updates your drivers.

When you get the gigabyte software installed manually set the fans to something and hit apply and check them. If it does turn on then there you go. If not try 100%. If still not, RMA the card.

no i have not because i am in the process of downloading the programmes, while we are on the topic what drivers do i need ??

GPU AIB partners have this feature, its called 0 dB mode by asus, idk what other companies call theirs, basically when the GPU isnt on high load, the fans dont spin up till they reach 64-65C, its meant to lower the noise at low GPU loads, browsing etc . and you can set a custom fan profile using MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precision X, Asus GPU Tweak, Gigabyte Xtreme Engine, etc.
