My GPU is DOA? Help please

I recently got an R9 270x. I installed the card and everything boots up but no display in the monitors. Also, when i use the gpu vga port, my mouse and keyboard dont work. Whats the problem?

Are you sure the gpu is seated correctly?
The pc was working rite before you installed the new gpu?

Yes. I had a 7750 before and it worked perfectly. I installed the 270x and it doesnt even recognise the GPU.

Yes. The fans come on bu nothing displays on screen.

Did you touch the memory sticks on the PC? My friend had the same problem the ram wasent in all the way. Try stiwtching ram sticks
