Question my gpu is gtx 550 ti but when i looked it up with gpuz or msi ots displays gtx555m and am having difficulties installing the drivers

Sounds like you may have installed the notebook driver? Uninstall old drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller and try a fresh driver install, making sure you select the proper driver (not for Notebook).

That shouldn't be happening. Mobile driver versions are not fully compatible with the desktop varaints. You need to confirm which GPU you are actually having. Please post a GPU-Z screenshot

i inserted gtx 650 and installed the drivers the i removed the 650 an inserted the 550 ti and manual went to device manager and manually chose 550 ti and now its working but i still dont understand why these drivers wont detect the card but when forced installed it works correctly

i can choose 750 ti and it will still work normal i dont understand this card
