My GPU is not going into fanless mode when Idle.

So I bought a GTX 1060 AMP! , which supports a fanless mode when Idle. The problem is that my graphics card NEVER goes into fanless mode and is constantly clocked at 1556 core clock and 4006 memory clock (Even when nothing is open and when my GPU load is less then 5%) . I only have MSI Afterburner installed and I cannot seem to get my core/memory clock speeds to less than 500 for a low temperature Idle state.

FYI - My PC has excellent cooling as the CPU temps are 52 Celsius on load and I have 2 intake and out-take fans in my system. Also my GPU temp is 56 on Idle (With the 1556 clock) and 67 on load (With a 1886 clock speed).

In summery I want this to happen: http://imgur.com/a/8FD5g (Low core/memory clock speed results in low TEMP therefore no fans spinning)

BUT I have to deal with this : http://imgur.com/a/G1xOf ( High core/memory clock speed results in highTEMP therefore fans spinning) .... Now how can I fix this? :)

You can A)
-uninstall all vga drivers incluiding msi after burner ans re install them
-if it dosent change anything try the advanced afterburner menu and set everything to factory configs.

Or B)
Adjust the power curve to the minimum and turn off the fans manually when not playing using mai afterburner

1. If I adjust the power curve to the minimum and turn off the fans manually ... the card just heats up untill it reaches 80 + Celsius which then automatically my fans turn on.

2. How can I set everything to factory configs?

Msi afterburner has a restore to factory settings buttom on the advanced config...

Btw have you tried setting a fan curve from fanless to aggresive fan config? If nothing happend there is also an option to override the presets...
