My gpu is running at 4x is that normal

I have a hp p6 2100 I recently installed a gt 710 gpu and it's running at 4x is there anything I can do to change that or is it normal

There isn't much you can do if the GPU is based off the new UEFI BIOS. Regardless, have you made sure your BIOS is up to date?

Running at x4 is not normal no. It should be running at x16.

doesnt really matter though in all honesty with a card as weak as the gt710 - pci express 2 4x has more than enough bandwidth still
