Question My GPU led turns on but my pc won't

Hi guys. I have a noob question earlier today I tried to turn my pc on but it wouldnt work but I saw my GPU led on. I think I know why it happened because I had two cables a power supply and a hdmi cellar taped together(I didn't know that was a bad idea). I'm getting a new power supply cable but I'm wondering if it could be anything else. Could anyone please help me

I don't know how to do that
