My GPU temp raises fast after some time

GPU temp raising while playing NBA from 50 to 80 in less than 2 seconds after some playing time and then it restarts and my game freezes and I lose cuz of that. My gpu is gtx 950 oc.

My 1080 Ti will go up about 20 degrees in 2 seconds when it boots up. It will idle in the low 30's but as soon as I fire up anything that will tax it, it will go up to 55 or even 65 in less than 5 seconds. Thats not bad. You are running it pretty hot however. I wouldn't let it go past 70, so you'll want to do something about that.
