My GPU turns on but doesn't work.

I just got a new EVGA GTX 1060 and it worked for 2-3 days flawlessly. Today I tried to test with my ram sticks because I was stuck with 8gb for a while and I didn't like it. While doing it, I disconnected my CPU fan and reconnected it afterwards because my fan was in the way of the ram. After I did this, my computer turns on and works, but my 1060 isn't. It turns on, and it tries to run but it doesn't. The fans turn for a split second then turn of. Then it repeats. I can't connect to my monitors to do anything, I have an old GTX 750 ti if I need to resort to that until I get a fix. EDIT: My GTX 750 ti doesn't work either.

check that your 8 pin cpu power plug is in and locked.

It is plugged in.

Figured it out. Motherboard died and I got a new one and it works.
