My Gpu usage while playing games is at 0% please help

So here is my story I built my own desktop pc from scratch. The graphics card I originally bought turn out it was broken. I bought a new one and replaced it. The new card worked perfectly but turn out nvidia's physx engine disagreed whit my card so I uninstalled it and ever since it's worked perfect. And now I'm stumped I monitor my hardware constantly and the only thing that wrong is my gpu usage is constantly at 0 from starting a games/ Windows till I turn off the computer. The only thing that has changed since this started happening is I uninstalled nvidia physx driver and I connected my pc to a tv instead of my monitor to see what it would look like. I am at the stage know where I just want to throw my pc out the window. I am on my knees asking for help please.

Has the performance changed? If not, it might simply be a monitoring issue.

Did you plug the TV into your motherboard or into the GPU? If you plug it into the motherboard, it'll use the IGP and not your discrete GPU.

Did you reinstall the drivers after removing the PhysX drivers? You will need those PhysX drivers installed for many games, even if you aren't using an Nvidia video card. PhysX is built into many game engines, and will need the drivers to play them, even if performed on the CPU.

Hi bystander what do you mean when you say monitoring issue but the first time I plugged the pc into the tv, I thought I had it plugged into the motherboard but it was in gpu. I did reinstall it after I posted. I ended up uninstalling everything and reinstalling them and still no luck.

I don't know why it's working now and what I did but it has seemed to be working now?
All I have done between my last post and this one is. I hung my monitor on the wall and and because it was to far away from me I reduced the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x800 and now it magically works would anyone be able to explain y this worked?
