Question My graphics card 3070 got stolen what should I do now

So basically wht happened is I am returning from shop after buying it omw someone snatched it from me...... I am alone that time and they were 2 person on a scooter

Did you note down the scooter/bike's number as well ? Or which type and model of scooter/bike was it, the color ? This will help the police in tracking down the culprit at least to some extent.

Number plate is covered with black tape it was an old model Activa 3g it is very common in my country like every 5th person have it in their home

Jokes aside, sorry that happened to you. Try the police anyway, cct cameras etc. If not then there really isn't anything you can do besides have someone go with you next time.

@ OP, No, you cannot track the GPU unlike a smartphone.

I think they must be having the receipt as well, since the whole card along with the box was stolen ? Unless of course, the OP kept the bill/receipt separately with him ?

If box was opened onsite for inspection and receipt was placed inside instead of pocket then maybe.

If you have any kind of insurance, like renter's insurance, it maybe covered.

How trust worthy is the shop you bought the card from?
Consider the possibility that they tipped off the thieves as to what you bought and what you looked like.

Sorry , you will have to save for a new one. Police won’t have enough info or resources to track them down.

It's not like a phone or a PC to track down or anything, it is a single piece of hardware, I doubt there's much to do except, as others said, tell police.

Unfortunately the people who took your card will likely resell it. I don’t know of a way to track it.

On FlipKart, they are at least 58K, almost DOUBLE that price. Where did you get that card for 30K?
