My Graphics card can be detected but not in DXDIAG...

My Graphics card can be detected in device manager but not in DXDIAG... even the nvidia control panel wont work, because it says that ( nvidia display setting is not available ) please help me THANKS ))) would add a picture of dxdiag and the device manager ..
help will be greatly appreciated ))

ps: also how to switch the windows basic display adapter to GTX950,
i tried unabled the windows basic display adapter but instead of the ENABLED gtx950 it does not appear as gtx950...

i have the same issue. mine is Nvidia 680m - Alienware m17x R4. i've tried everything nothing seems to work,
