Dell S2716DG Monitor
Intel i7-7700k 4.2Ghz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080
Asrock Z270 motherboard

- Graphics card DP → No signal
- Graphics card HDMI → works
- Motherboard Intel HD graphics outputs(DP,HDMI) → works (not the cable issue?)

My monitor never detect my PC when I am attempting to use a DP cable with it, but with HDMI or motherboard outputs it works just fine.
I tried so many things but can't figure out what is wrong with it.

- Monitor swap → same problem
- Tried dual monitor setting and see how it works → dosen't recognize monitor which DP cable plugged.
- Tried same thing with onboard graphic → perfect works
- Graphics card swap → same problem
- Dell monitor driver install → not solved
- Asrock BIOS update → not solved
- Intel chipset driver update → not solved
- Remove display drivers with DDU and reinstall → not solved
- Set the power management mode of Nvidia control panel to maximum performance → not solved
- Turn off monitor power few minutes → not solved

I don't want to use HDMI 60hz setup.
Any helpful comments is greatly appreciated!

I already solved yesterday. I feel so dumb.
My PC case caused interference when I plug dp cable at Graphics card. so I cut the one part of rear side chassis with nipper and it works. what a waste of time... :(
thank you for reply anyway.
