My graphics card fan has stopped spinning

Hello guys, my brother's graphics card (Nvidia 9500 gs) fan has stopped spinning but MSI Afterburner software is showing that it is working properly. Any ideas if i can fix this problem? Should i stop starting the pc so i won't make it worse until i find a solution? will i need a new fan or graphics card? Thanks

Double check your fan is properly connected, you might need to disassemble the GPU to do this.

It is possible for a fan to die, luckily you can get pretty cheap replacements off of Ebay for only a couple of $.

You can definitely still use the PC, but you will want to keep a much closer eye on the temperatures, gaming will probably not be an option until you are able to replace or fix the fan.

I haven't touch anything so it is connected for sure. I think it is a fan problem but can i find a fan on ebay for this kind of card?
