My graphics card is not appearing

Hello, I've gotten a new graphics card lately (R7 250x 2gb) and installed it accordingly. The lights lit up and i can hear the fan running . Now the problem is, its not showing up on the display adapter on the device manager. I'd tried installing the driver on a disk that came with the package already but it wouldnt open beacuse had to install a ''Vga card of Asus" can someone give me a clue of how im suppose to get my new graphic card to show

Make sure you have downloaded the latest drivers from your cards manufacturer website.
IMO Don't even bother with the CD's that come with products.

I'm just adding to my computer, I already have graphics card already built in my AMD APU and just want my stronger graphics card in my pc. I downloaded many drivers already relating to my graphics card and product serial number and still nothing...
