Solution

What is your architecture of your windows 7 OS?
32bit or 64bit?

Link for 64bit driver: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=Legacy1&os=Windows%20Vista%20-%2064
Download both of them.

Try to install it manually via device manager.
Don't use the setup executable.

It's the ONLY driver and the LATEST driver available for your aging x1330/1550 card,
AMD has dropped support on this legacy card. If it still don't work then it's time to consider getting a newer card like GT 730 or R7 250.

Or roll back your windows from system restore point that installer automatically created before you update your GPU driver, it's much easier than dealing with faulty drivers.
First, clean current driver with DDU in safe mode:
http://www.guru3d.com/files-tags/download-ddu.html
Once you're in safe mode, open DDU and click "clean and restart"
Download this driver (because it's an old card, there is no latest driver available and AMD has dropped support for this card):
https://community.amd.com/external-link.jspa?url=http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=Legacy1&os=Windows%20Vista%20-%2032

After you do all procedures that I mentioned above, you need to configure windows update NOT TO SEARCH FOR DRIVER AND UPGRADE THE DRIVER, ESPICIALLY GPU/DISPLAY DRIVERS.

Hope it's help...
