My GTX 1050 2GB is only using less than 1GB in Eurotruck Simulator 2

I don't remember taking notice of the other games but Eurotruck Simulator 2 is only using about 600MB-850MB of the available 2GB of VRAM on this video card. Why is it?

Could be that is all it needs.

A 512mb card will run the game at lower detail.
