Question My GTX 1080 is blocking my pch fan causing it to run faster and louder

Hello! I have a asus x570 tuf gaming wifi plus mobo and it seems that my 1080 is blocking the fan on my mobo causing it to run at a higher rpm, would i have to move the gpu to a lower slot?

Placing graphics card in lower pcie x16 slot (operating at 4x) would reduce bandwidth available to the card from 16x to 4x.
Not recommended.

Improve air-flow inside your pc case.
What pc case are you using? How many fans installed? What positions? What configuration?

i am using a fractal design meshify c, three fans are installed, two in the front for intake, one in the back for exhaust all are set to silent
