I just got a Phoenix GTX 1080 and it won't work. When i boot my pc the screen remains black and my GPU's fans spin for a bit and then stop. Do you think that this is a PSU problem or something else because it is pretty cheap.

Solution
I have a Ryzen 5 1600x, some pretty old PSU its peak power output is 420w so i think the issue is that and my mobo is an Asus Prime A320M-K.
Power supplies can say a lot of things on their sticker, what you should be concerned with is the +12V rail and how many Amps are on it (shown on the sticker). It might not be anywhere near enough to power your system.

Solution
I suspected even before I started this thread that it is a PSU issue but I wanted someone more experienced to give their opinion. You were right, the PSU is about 5 amps below the required amperage. Thank you for your help. Might as well get a new PSU.
