Question My GTX 1080ti founders edition won’t fit in case

Cooler Master Cosmos C700P TG it’s not slotting in pci correctly due to metal point thing on motherboard my other case what is smaller works good but this seems not to fit all the way I might buy Cooler Master Vertical Display Graphics Card would that fit

What motherboard do you have?

There should be no reason for it not to fit in a full ATX case.
