Hello, Me GPOU has been heating up a lot recently. SO I decided to take a look to see what's going on. It turns out that my GTX 645 2 GB from HP custom PC, Envy 700-200, didn't have a fan! it only had a heat sink! Many pictures of GTX 645 OEM had fans. also the board was blue, not green. I only had 1 DVI, 1 HDMI, and 1 DP.

What version did I get?
How do I prevent it from heating up without a fan?
Any other solutions?

PS I custom selected this PC from HP.

I selected a GPU and Power supply, (460W)

Solution
Coolers may different from Each Brand company..... Some may use heat sink and others fans....

but, both do same work...... dissipate heat from the board....and keep the GPU board cool.... So no need to worry

It's just fine ......... if u further worry abt ur GPU.....call ur HP care
