I will be buying a new rig. (ready to order right now) and these are the specs.
gpu - asus gtx 670 durect cu2
cpu - i5 4670k with a z87 mobo
psu - corsair tx650 enthusiast
Hard drive - 1tb space with a 120 gb samsung 840 EVO ssd.
case - fractal design r4 (window)
ram - corsair vengeance 8gb

I was wondering if this is a beast build that will last me 3 or 4 years because i will not be able to upgrade anything big soon. (except for maybe buying a cooler when ready to overclock my cpu)
I would also like to know if this will play new games (such as bf4) that come out without a problem. This build all together will cost me around 1150 dollars because my friend is giving me his brand new gtx 670 for half price of that in the store. (he bought it without realizing the new amd cards were coming out the next week 😛) Normally i beleive this build would be around 1400 dollars so i feel like i am getting a great deal. I know that all of these parts are top of the line but i would like a second opinion to whether games will run smooth. I would also like someone withg the same rig or knowledge of this card to tell me what kind of fps i will get on heavy populated minecraft server. (Just wondering because im an fps junky)

Looks like a pretty decent rig, mate. I'm sure it will play BF4 like a champ. These benchmarks are on an overclocked i7, but they will give you some idea: http://www.bf4blog.com/battlefield-4-beta-gpu-cpu-benchmarks/
