[SOLVED] My GTX 750 TI is dying. Thinking of upgrading to a 1050 TI.

CPU: AMD FX-6300
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. GA-78LMT-USB3 6.0
BIOS: Award Software International, Inc. F2, 11/25/2014 (Legacy)

Would it work as-is, or would I need to update the BIOS?

Solution
I took a look at the support page and there are only two bios files there, both from 2014. I wouldn't count on a bios update helping here. I've seen GTX 10xx cards working on older systems with a legacy bios but I don't feel comfortable enough to promise you that it would work.

In the time since I posted this, it's gone from dying to dead. I can't even get the PC to boot all the way. It keeps crashing when it tries to load the desktop background.

It's my main PC, and I really just want to get it up and running again as soon as possible. What would you do in my position? Track down another 750 TI and hope it's more reliable than the last one? Or is there a better card that would definitely work as-is?
