Two things... For one, your posting in the CPU forum if you haven't noticed yet. and for two, An upgrade from a 760 to a 1050 ti isn't worth it, I would go for a 1060 6GB so just wait until you can afford it because a 1060 6GB performs about 80% better than a 1050 ti for about 2x the 1050 ti's price.

Yes it is a cheap and good solution. The 1050 ti is good for medium settings on 1080p. Assuming you have a good CPU.
