My GTX 970 is locked at 60fps

Hey guys so i need help my GTX 970 is locked on 60 fps whatever i do on Farc ry 4 can you guys help me with this i dont know whats going on even do i have very low settings or high why is this ???
 
Solution
In your Nvidia control panel there is a setting call Vertical Sync or "v-sync". If this is forced on, and your monitor is a 60hz refresh rate monitor, you will never go above 60. Which in most cases is a good thing to prevent screen tearing. If it's not on in the control panel, odds are the game has it enabled by default and you just haven't changed that setting. You shouldn't need to go past 60. If your monitor is a 60hz monitor, there is no reason to. You won't see the difference.

Solution
The only reason you may want to disable V-Sync, regardless of your monitor's refresh rate, is to lower input lag. I personally prefer screen tearing over input lag, but I guess that's why I'm neurotic and bought a 144Hz monitor 😛
