My GTX 970M is Running Horribly After I Reformatted It

I'm new to this forum, in fact, I created this account just so I could post this, apologies if I get anything wrong.

I recently reformatted my PC, now it can barely run any games. On every game I've tested I've had to turn the graphics way down for it to run smoothly, even on games which I KNOW I've been able to run on higher settings before. But I have no idea what would be causing this, other than the fact that it occured after the reformat.

Did you reinstall the video drivers after reformatting your system?

I did not reinstall my video drivers after reformatting.

Doing so would fix the problem. Get the drivers from:

https://www.geforce.com/drivers
