I'm using an i7 3820 8GB ram with a GTX 980 Ti on a triple 1050p monitor setup.

My problem is that everytime I try to open an EA game it will give me an error message after a minute of the application running.

I tested

BF1
BF4
BF3
Mirriors Edge Catalyst

The only other game I have is gta4 and that game worked

this is a segment of the error message I recieved

Direct3D could not allocate sufficient memory to complete the call GPU "NVIDIA GTX 980 TI", driver 38541. Free virtual memory 4284640428 kB/ 4284640428 kB. Make sure you have a supported graphics card with at least 2GB

Someone please help me! I hope my graphics isn't broken!!!

Solution

You should not set such high values for virtual memory. Large values impact system performance negatively.
Set it to 500MB initial 8000MB max.

Anyway - I recommend you to upgrade your ram to 16GB.

Thats the link to the image ^.

I had gotten home and I set the initial memory to 70000 and the max to 310000.

The games booted up now but I was now getting horrible frame rate, example: I was getting 30 frames in Mirrors Edge when I was suppose to get 80 FPS.

and the graphics card was acting weird, It was maxed out at 100% utilization, but the temperature was 56C when its suppose to be around 83C when at maxed load, and the fan for the graphics card was only at 30% utilization..... the GPU was using 3.5gb when play mirrors edge on med-low @5040x1050

THE GPU IS A REFERENCE CARD, BUT IT SHOULD PERFORM A LOT BETTER THAN THOSE REULTS.

I had gotten so irritated that I had re-installed windows 7, I have not played any games yet... but I will inform you if I run into any problems, thanks for the help
