my gtx970 doesn't look as good as my gtx670

So this might be all in my head. But my gtx 970 doesn't look quite as smooth, even at higher frames, as my 670. After I'm doing playing bf4 on my 970 and then switch out to my 670, the game generally looks smoother. Is this just me?

specs:
msi gtx 970 4g, gtx 670
i5 3570k @ 4.3
asrock extrme 4
seasonic 550w

have you uninstalled the old drivers and installed them again?

Yes, i've even done a clean install of windows. This is actually how it's been since I bought the 970 back in october

what exactly does not look good, is it screen tearing? choppy FPS?

it feels like frametimes, like hitching. anyway i'm probably gonna ebay this thing and get one of the 3xx's from amd when they come out. there's something really subtle going on with the 970. I was just wondering if anyone else has been feeling it

i tested the card out and i didnt notice anything to be honest try using DDU driver uninstaller than download the drivers again
