My hard disk is blocked

Hi how r you
My hard disk got sudden error
Than it was not booting windows
I tried to re install windows but it is just booting booting not moving for further process to format the paritions or anything
Already i had two partitions one for windows and other for my data for safe side i removed hardisk from laptop and conected as external to get my data it is jus reading and showing partitions but no further movement none of files are opening is there solution to it

Hi,

As you said that your system is reading & detecting your drive but unable to open any file or folder well there might be chances that your drive got corrupted. It not become unresponsive yet but it got corrupted & unable to read the files or folders & that’s why unable to open the same.

I hope you may have a backup of your drive. If not then you may need a data recovery software to recover your data from that corrupted drive.
