My hard drive doesn't appear in bios

Hi ...
I have Samsung laptop model RV510, it comes with win 7
Unfortunately I tried to install win xp on it , and the installation failed
Now when I want to install win 7 again my hard drive doesn't appear in bios and while installing appear as "uncollected drive" and I can't make any new partition or install on it ... How can I fix this problem

Probably your CD with windows XP hasn't got roper SATA drivers on it. Install XP with integrated Service pack3. or use program Nlite to add drivers to the CD(You will have to burn new cd, NLITE will copy your original cd with windows and add relevant SATA drivers.

all this is very easy

Before that I would suggest to check if that HDD physically works by plugging it into another computer.
