My Hard Drive has 30GB of space unaccounted for

My 4 year old 120GB SSD shows 88GB full when I check it in "Computer" and right click for drive properties. When I actually open the drive and check the size of each folder in it manually (including hidden folders), I only find 58GB of files. Any ideas? Before you suggest it, I've run cleanup, I've deleted Temp, etc, but this is pointless as (as previously stated) this size discrepancy isn't coming from files I can actually see to delete.

Hi there,

I would agree with Karsten75 and say that it may be a good idea to use some HDD analyzing tool. This should show you what is taking up the space.
Apart from that, in many cases, these tools can't detect the space taken by restore points. So, you need to delete previous restore points and reduce the space allocated for System Restore.

Hope this will help,
