my hard drive have bad sound

when i install windows 7 i don't hear any bad sound from my hard.
but if i install windows 8 or 8.1 any of version and no matter is 32 bit or 64 bit , my hard drive have crash sound every 5 or 10 min

why i have this problem , and i back to windows 7 , but i need windows 8 or 8.1 for install visual studio so i can windows phone develop..

anyone can help me?

if your hard drive is giving you some type of sounds you better be careful, that's a sign of the drive being defective or about to hit failure.

what CPU, what GPU, what motherboard you have etc etc.

i know it but when i back to windows 7 , like before i did not hear any sound , just when i install windows 8 or 8.1 i have this problem 🙁

but i install this illegal copy of windows on many system like laptop or pc even on mac book and they haven't any problem like this 😵

and i live in iran so you can not find a original windows in my country even hard try to find one !!!
so any windows like xp - vista - seven - 8 or 8.1 in my country all are copies and have crack. and we cant find a original windows even we want that .

That could be causing your problem. Just use Windows 7. Then listen very hard to the hard drive. Any noise - copy it to a new hard drive.

i have this hard for 2 years and i have windows 7 but no noise or problem just when i install windows 8 i hear that crash noise for 1 day and i uninstall windows 8 so i back on windows 7 like before , so solve this problem and i dont hear any noise from my hard anymore ,
but i need windows 8 🙁 🙁

I would need to look at your PC to be sure. You can check it with Seatools (Seagate Diagnostic Tool)

There is no software fix for a noisy hard drive.
