My hard drive runs almost at 100% on idle
So my question to you guys is. Do I have to get a new hard drive/SSD or is there a way to fix it

That sounds like background processes are running, or Windows might be downloading/installing an update.

Is it Task Manager that's saying it's at 100%? If so, sort by the Disk Usage column and see which process(es) is/are maxing out hard drive usage.

Do a sort on the Disk column of Task Manager and see what's using the HDD the most.

Click on the Disk column until you see a downward-pointing arrow, like this image.

One can find out if writing updates is responsible merely by launching the 'check for updates' option....; it will clearly show when something is actively being downloaded/installed....or , just as important... when it is not....

When updates are being downloaded/installed, best to be patient and let them happen...

Failing (spinning) hard drives often tie up a system with repeated read/write tries, which can bring a system to a virtual standstill....
