hi.

My problem is, when i click the Mouse button my only left HDD makes working noise like it would read/write data or somethin like this. (i also tried a other old hdd before and same probl either)

my specs:
ASUS Gaming Pro 970 Aura Motherboard
AMD Fx-8350
Nvidia GeForce 1050Ti
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB
2x Samsung SSD 860 250 GB

Also reinstalling Windows 10 Pro did not help - even if I set-up a new system (format C:). after a while of using and installing some additional programs needed (Steam?!?) this problem recovers.

In my opinion Windows 7 does not make such problems, but the VGA-Card and Monitors have issues, so I got back to Windows 10 - and tadaaaa - problem relaunsch.

i wouldnt hesitate with any virus - maybe a worm or a hardware fault - even if this problem does not exist when i am playing Direct3D (Fullscreen or Full-Size-Framed).

Iam really verunsichert.

So any one can give me a solution for this or can tell me something about those problems?

i remembers me when i had a accident with my laptop sometimes - i crashed my open laptop against a closing elevator door and after this - the laptop was working fine - but in every windows session (de-)maximazing windows it has made this terrible, sneaky noise via headphone output.

ok, this time this a desktop pc and this cant had any hardware issues due physical forces, can it?

Can overclocking FSB & via Multiplicator the FX-8350 from 4,00 GHZ to 4,3-4,4 GHZ made the board broken?

Even 2of2 of the tested TPM-Modules did not work properly for the gaming 970 pro aura. But this is another mystery case. and just btw info.

so i tried to use WD Diagnostics (okay, it was a WD HDD - not a SEAGATE) and yes, there might was a problem about issue in order of no exclusive access on hard drive in the end of deep diagnostics. these was in case the tool started again - i did not start the tool purposely.

after resetting my system again i noticed, that after i added my desktop pc to an home network group via system - computer name - homenetz group entry the upper addressed suspicious theme returns.

any idea?

P.S.: In any Case the HDD never goes in standby after matter reappers

Did WD test find anything wrong with drive? You could run HDTune on the hard drive, look on the health tab and let it do a SMART scan. take a screen shot and post it to an image sharing web site and show a link here.

do you get clicking if you remove overclock?

so clicking doesn't happen until you connect it to home network? What other PC are on network? do you share the hdd with other PC on network?

normal reason you hear clicking from any hdd, its the drive itself. But if it only happens after you connect to the network, I am going to have to see what I can find.

hey Folks :).

After reinstalling Windows 2-3 times, low-level-format my WD Disk und testing System with Hiren's Boot CD in Win 10 PE Mode i snapped the HDD off, cause the symtoms even exist (Windows 10 only?!) so after Setting my pc up again and using it without any hdd i heard even a srrrrr Sound when Browsing on Webpages. and so on.

after that i was Looking up surring cpu on the Internet and found out, that the "Energy Options" can adjust the Problem. so i used my older power "block" and tadaaaa… prolbem seems solved.

OKAY, the matter ist, that the Problem is Windows 10 only. IVORY
