[SOLVED] My HDMI port is not working

I want 2nd monitor screen for my computer but when I plug the HDMI port into the motherboard outlet it doesnt do anything.

Here is the setup:

Motherboard: Asus Prime B350-Plus
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G.

I am not a very tech guy and hoping that some of you wizards will be able to help me out.

The problem is your CPU -- it does not have integrated graphics.

You can run multiple monitors from your MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G though. Just plug the other monitor into your GPU also.

Alright thank you. It does not have a 2nd HDMI port though, how can I solve this. Should I buy a converter and if so, which one?

You can just buy a Displayport to HDMI cable...
