Hi,

I have a SADES headset from Amazon, was only £10, so wasn't expecting great quality. It is two headphone plugs, not a USB. When I plug them into the PC I built yesterday, they don't do anything. They work because when I plug them into my phone, or my TV, they work. Do I have to get drivers or something?

Thanks

Have you installed any audio drivers (usually included with the motherboard drivers) when you built the PC?
Did you plug the headset correctly (headphone - green jack, mic - pink jack)?
Did you plug them in the front panel headphone jack? If so, did you check if the front panel audio connector is plugged to the motherboard?
Have you tried plugging the headphone directly to the motherboard's headphone (green) jack at the back of the PC?
Did you check the audio volume controls of your PC (low volume, mute, etc)?
Dd you check the headset volume control (if any)?

:)
