My headset isn't playing sound

Help?!! My headset is recognized but not playing sound!

Where and how is it connected to your system? Usb, 3.5 mm.. Did you check your presets? Maybe the profile you use is muted. Does the level bar on the volume mixer lights up when you know that sound is being played (mp3)?

Yes, nothing is muted and the Windows volume bar shows audio coming. It's connected by usb.

Its fixed now. It was set to 3.5mm mode not usb.
