My high end PC gets sluggish for a few seconds when under load

Basically every time my computer is doing something like launching a game (CS:GO, Far Cry 3, For honor) or when I have one of the aforementioned programs launch and alt tab to do something like open a chrome tab, my mouse will get really choppy, jutting around the screen while my audio gets stuttered and crackly. It even does this to an extent when launching something like HWMonitor or Discord. This all started when the symptoms occurred while playing Far Cry 3 after around a one to one and a half session, then the game crashed and my computer has been doing it ever since. I don't know what's going on because I have a pretty decent rig and the CPU usually never goes past 50%-60% load and my temps always seem fine. Tried restarting of course

Specs:

Windows 10
CPU: i7-6700k
Mobo: Asus Z170-A
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB (25% full)
GPU: EVGA 750ti 2gb
Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo
Ram: Dominator platinum DDR4 running at 2133mhz

Anyone have a clue?

EDIT: Just an update, 10 minutes after posting this thread i was literally doing nothing and the thing basically froze and the audio turned into a loud hard buzzing for about 1 second then worked as normal ;_;

EDIT: Just listening to music on youtube while doing nothing else but internet browsing and there's a pop in the audio here and there occasionally
