my hp 32gb pendrive is very slow.Why?

i am a xp user. I buy a hp v220w flashdrive.But when i connected it to my PC,it is detecting but not copying the files fast.It is slow.What will i do?

How fast is your USB port? Did you test the flash drive in another system? Did you check how fast the files are copying vs the specs for the drive and computer port speed?
