My Hp F1703 color monitor's power button is blinking white

My Hp F1703 color monitor's power button starts at yellow then will go into a blinking white and the screen will never come on. While the power button was blinking I looked at the power supply to see the light on it was also blinking. This led me to believe the issue lies with the power supply but I would like a second opinion.

Look for the long piece on Flatscreen Monitor Failures. Sounds like you've got the same problem.
