My hp stream pc only has wan miniports, no wifi adapter. How can I connect to the internet using my wireless router

My granddaughter bought a hp stream laptop from woot. It has wan miniports but now wireless adapter. How can I connect to the internet? my network provider is infinity and I use a netgear router. Verizon is my phone/data carrier.

I have wireless but my granddaughters new stream pc does not have a wifi adapter, only wan miniports. I don't know how to use a wan miniport to connect to my netscape or to infinity??

My granddaughters laptop has no wireless in device manager, only wan miniports and bluetooth. The specs you have above is accurate except for no 802.1 adapter. I put in a usb wireless adapter and got online that way, but I would really like to have an internal adapter to use.

I upgraded windows (72 items) and when it was finished and rebooted, I did a rescan in device manager and the wireless adapter showed up and connected. I'm sooo happy.
