My HP2560p laptop shows high temperature almost 100 celcius

4gb ram
intel HD
win 10

It's cleaned. No dust and I just installed new paste on my processor. The idle condition is good (~41C). But when opening youtube, the temp raise 70-80 C. Browsing (58-70 C) and gaming (80-99 C) almost 100 celcius.

So, What's wrong with my laptop ? Thx for reply

It sounds like either you don't have proper contact of the CPU and/or GPU to the cooling plate OR one of your cooling fans is not working, perhaps because it did not get plugged back in during reassembly. I would open it and recheck the assembly carefully.

As you saw, laptops use a fan or two depending on the model to blow air across a set of cooling fins that are connected to the CPU and GPU cooling plate/plates by copper bars.

Have you installed properly the new thermal paste?? i mean if you removed the old one from cpu and the cooler heatsink. and make sure the cooler is spinning. this might seem like a hardare issue.so repeat the process of installing new thermal paste and make sure the fan is connected.the heatsink makes contact with the processor and make you add plenty on thermal paste

I apply new paste and unsure the contact was good.
And It never reach above 90C
