If it is thermal throttle, it could be a few reasons why. 1. Vents blocked like being on a soft surface like carpet or a blanket. 2. Fans clogged with dust. 3. Other, or laptop cooling not sufficient for current tasks. A cooling pad may help force more air through the bottom. Upvote 0 Downvote
